Employment Law programme 2021

Purposes of training

  • To acquire and maintain the legal knowledge and practices necessary for Human Resources management, enabling the implementation, depending on the situations encountered, of the labour law regulations applicable to the selected themes (see below).
  • To know how to identify the corporate measures to be implemented and risky situations; knowing how to react when the company’s obligations and corporate responsibility are brought into play.
  • To update knowledge based on current legislation, regulations and case law; to identify opportunities and adapt corporate practices within the company

Population concerned and prerequisites

The following are concerned:

  • HR employees: HR and payroll assistants / managers, HRDs, legal experts, etc.,
  • directors and managers/administrative and financial managers

Prerequisites:

  • Experience of HR roles / social security/ payroll roles

Organisation of the programme

  • Paris programme: 10 half-day sessions (each one 3½ hours) from January to December, 35 hours in total
  • Other programmes: 5 half-day sessions (each one 3½ hours) from March to December, or 17½ hours in total
  • Each session is divided into two parts:
    • A theme defined in advance allowing the practice to be understood (see “Schedule and themes”).
    • The current situation with regard to legislation and case law and its practical impact on personnel management.

Trainers and teaching

The employment programme courses, which have been in place since 2003, are delivered by lawyers and legal experts who have experience of labour law and a knowledge of the realities of business.

They combine theoretical and practical aspects and are illustrated by examples drawn from the trainers’ professional experience.

A training package will be provided.

Acquired learning is assessed and commented on during the last session of the programme based on a questionnaire related to the entire course.
