Purposes and bases of processing
We inform you that our firm carries out processing of personal data having as legal basis:
- The performance of
pre-contractual or contractual measures when the purpose of the processing is:
- the production, management and follow-up of its clients’ files;
- debt collection.
- The legitimate interest pursued
by the firm when the purpose of the processing is:
- prospecting and management;
- management of the relationship with its clients and potential clients;
- organisation of, registrations for and invitations to the firm’s events.
- Compliance with legal
obligations when the purpose of the processing is:
- the prevention of money laundering, the funding of terrorism and the fight against corruption;
- invoicing;
- accounting.
The data collected is necessary for the performance of this contract and may also be, where applicable, necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject or for the legitimate interest of our firm relating to the traceability, certification and quality of its services.
Should this data not be provided, our firm would be unable to process your requests, in particular with regard to the rules of admissibility, foreclosure, mandatory information under penalty of inadmissibility, etc. and in general to all rules of judicial or administrative proceedings requiring knowledge of personal data.
Non-provision of such data would oblige us to abandon the assignment entrusted to us.
Retention
Personal data is stored by our subcontractor, the company LEXISNEXIS SA, whose privacy policy can be consulted at: https://www.lexisnexis.fr/politique-confidentialite
It is stored for the time necessary for the completion of the contractual service; this retention period may be extended in order to comply with a legal obligation.
For evidentiary reasons, the data can also be archived for a period of five years following the end of the authorisation or of the contractual relationship, before final deletion.
Recipients
Personal data may only be consulted by persons authorised to access it as part of their duties.
Lawyers’ files may only be sent to persons authorised to see them, notably pursuant to specific legislative provisions and subject to the observance of professional secrecy.
So, personal data is intended for the use of authorised departments in our firm, and with regard to some data which is strictly necessary for the accomplishment of their respective tasks, its subcontractors (IT or accounting), as well as, where applicable, and within the strict context of exchanges subject to the adversarial principle, the various stakeholders directly concerned by your proceedings, and the authorities concerned, or private third parties who you have named to us.
Rights of the persons concerned
Under the conditions laid down in Law and the regulations, you have the right to request access to, and the rectification or erasure of your personal data, or limited processing in relation to the person concerned, or to object to the processing and the right to data portability.
